Fun, self-aware punk rock movie about the meteoric rise of Corine Burns and her band The Fabulous Stains. Bottom line, Corine doesn't give a fuck, and she doesn't put out.
Supporting a small number of mostly obscure lead actors, the cast features a host of real rockers, including members of the Sex Pistols and the Clash. The soundtrack is on point, including several full track stage performances. And it's directed by Lou Adler, whose only other directing credit is for Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke.
It's funny, grungy, and weird. Sometimes everyone tries too hard, but it's got good heart.
