The biggest problem is the pacing. It's a Dolph Lundgren film, sure I want some window dressing to color the action, but there's no need to dwell on it. There's about 45 minutes too many spent on character developoment, especially considering that the bulk of it is him training his way back to where he was at the start. The bad guys are a bunch of pathetic neo Nazis who can't act, Lundgren is a bit of a bumbling ass, and I have no idea why the romantic interest kept showing up. The diner-owning boss and personal trainer is the best character, and he's strictly relegated to supporting duties.
This is not one of Lundgren's best, only recommended if you like the idea of watching him run, and limp, and run some more for an hour or so.
